I have considered selling mine many times, but i keep it because it's a great tool for sound creation and because its noisiness works well with abstract west-coast patches.♫ In stock: It is in stock and available to ship or pickup. the Erbeverb is a fantastic module, and that's why it stays in my rack, but it is not a standard, pleasant-sounding reverb. I would love for someone to prove me wrong on this thread.ĭon't misunderstand me. Some may claim that it's possible to tame the Erbeverb's artefacts but I no longer believe this. I use something else, better suited to the job (most of which cost less then the Erbeverb). If I want a nice-sounding, quality reverb, with big tails, I do not use my Erbeverb. If you're not interested in using lots of modulation (which will sound pretty crunchy at times), deliberately creating artefacts, pushing it into self-oscillation, or using it as a sound design tool earlier in the chain then I doubt you will be happy with the Erbeverb in the long-term. I can repeat what others have said before: if you're looking for a standard reverb the Erbeverb is simply not for you. ![]() I am often shocked when, having listened on monitors for a while, I put headphones on and can suddenly hear just how bad the artefacts in the reverb tails are. I didn't hear anything in your audio that was different from mine - and believe me it can get a lot worse than that. I'll be blunt: as a standard, end-of-chain, reverb with longer tails the Erbeverb can sound pretty awful, and I have long struggled to get artefact-free tails.
